The mural I designed for Norwich BID (Business Improvement District) has been unveiled this weekend. I have yet to see the finished piece but I can now share my original design. The brief for the project was Norwich, City of Stories. Designed in my usual bold & colourful style I used a stack of books to create a Norfolk landscape. Norwich landmarks pop out of the pages of an open book on the right, with the river Wensum running through Bishops bridge & into a broads scene of the left.
I would like to thank artist Mark Harper for doing such a fantastic job of actually painting the mural. Not an enviable task with all the obstacles involved, drainpipes, grills, a canopy……
You can now see the finished mural on the back of Tesco Metro on Pottergate in Norwich, photos to follow shortly.
